A Legacy Lives
Ron Sieling dedicated his life to serving others and building a stronger, more compassionate community. A lifelong resident of Kankakee, Ron believed deeply in the power of generosity, integrity, and kindness to make the world a better place. His commitment to service was evident through his leadership as President (3 times during his 22 years of service) with the Lions Club, his work as Vice President of the Kankakee Housing Authority, and his active involvement in the St. Joseph Parish Holy Name Society.
Ron’s warm spirit and unwavering dedication touched countless lives. He led by example — always ready to lend a hand, offer encouragement, or share a smile. The Ron Sieling Scholarship was created to continue his legacy of service, compassion, and community leadership. Through this scholarship, we honor his memory by supporting students who share his belief in making a difference and building a brighter future for all.
